One of the innovations introduced by the Government of Magelang Regency is SIPBB Trengginas, a web-based application designed to facilitate the management of Land and Building Tax (PBB) data, expedite the data updating process, and enhance transparency at the village level. This community service activity was carried out through the thematic Community Service Program (KKN) in Trenten Village, aimed at improving the capacity of village officials in using SIPBB Trengginas, particularly in the features of rights transfer mutation and the addition of new objects. The method employed was hands-on practice, starting with basic training at the BPPKAD of Magelang Regency, followed by intensive assistance to village officials. The results of this activity indicate that the assistance was effective, as village officials were able to operate the mutation and new object addition features independently, allowing for faster and more accurate updates of PBB data. However, several challenges were encountered, such as a lack of understanding of the overall system workflow and varying levels of digital literacy among village officials. As a sustainability measure, the KKN team has developed and submitted a user guide module for SIPBB Trengginas to support self-learning and long-term utilization of the application.
2025-08-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Arief Hendra Kurniawan, Maududy Hasan Albana, Luqy Jihannindya, Mareta Dwi Setyaningrum, Mila Widi Astutik, Mohammad Azra Dandy, Muhammad Rafi Alfarizi, Ilham Haqiqi, Ilham Putu Mada Lahiya, Jihan Arini, Mazaya Najmi Iftita Zuhrin, Siti Zulaikahhttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/929Pendampingan Kolaboratif Orang Tua dan Guru Berbasis Strategi Komunikasi Efektif dalam Membentuk Karakter Religius Siswa2025-08-15T03:33:41+00:00Supian Supiansupian.ramli@unja.ac.idMuhammad Sobrimuhammadsobri@unja.ac.idSahrizal Vahlepisahrizalvahlepi@unja.ac.idK.A. While chemical pesticides are commonly used for pest control, their long-term application leads to negative environmental impacts, including increased pest resistance and harmful residues on food products. Therefore, there is a clear need for environmentally friendly, easy-to-use, and safe alternative pest control methods for household scale application. This initiative focuses on the potential of papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya L.) as a natural pesticide due to its bioactive compounds like papain, alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, and tannins, which possess insecticidal and antimicrobial properties. The program employed a participatory educational approach in Dukuhmencek Village, involving community members, particularly active women farmers. Activities included socialization on the dangers of chemical pesticides and the benefits of natural alternatives, demonstrations of simple papaya leaf extract preparation, distribution of the natural pesticide, and guidance on its application in home gardens. Primary data was collected through interviews and observations to understand community perceptions, knowledge, and needs regarding eco-friendly pest control. The results showed that the application of papaya leaf extract effectively controlled pests like caterpillars and aphids, leading to healthier plants and reduced leaf damage. This successful implementation fostered community confidence in natural pesticides as a reliable, long-term solution, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing reliance on synthetic chemicals. The program not only enhanced technical skills but also contributed to community self-reliance and strengthened food security.
2025-08-28T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Shaqila Mazaya Andira, Mirza Cahyo Wibowo, Savvy Prissy Amellia Carissa, Novia Wulan Safitri, Roudotul Murtafi’ah, Navisya Putri Jingga, Rindi Dewi Anjani, Novita Khoirunisak, Raditya Hermawan, Noval Ihsan Romadhon, Sampir Andrean Sukocohttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/954Eksplorasi Kualitatif Faktor Penghambat Adopsi Teknologi Rainwater Harvesting di Daerah Rawan Kekeringan2025-08-29T13:25:48+00:00Syahrul Rezi Ismailsyahrulrezi.ismail@umi.ac.idMutmainnah MutmainnahMutmainnah@umi.ac.idIrmawaty IrmawatyIrmambs01@gmail.comAisyah Madiana Aliaisya.madiana@umi.ac.id
This qualitative research aims to explore in depth the factors inhibiting the adoption of Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) technology in drought-prone communities, focusing on non-technical aspects that are socio-cultural, perceptual, and psychological. This study uses a phenomenological approach through qualitative methods. Data was collected from communities in drought-prone areas through in-depth interviews and Pumped Group Discussions (FGDs). Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify key patterns and themes. This study reveals five main themes as inhibitors of RWH adoption: (1) Public perception that rainwater is "dirty" and unfit for consumption, while groundwater and PDAM water are considered "clean" and guaranteed; (2) Economic constraints and priority allocation of family funds; (3) Perception of technological complexity and concerns about treatment; (4) Institutional weaknesses and social dynamics in management; and (5) Beliefs and cultural norms that view drought as a destiny. These findings suggest that the biggest obstacle is not in the technical aspect, but in the construction of entrenched social perceptions, values, and norms. The success of community service programs in implementing civil engineering technology such as RWH is highly dependent on understanding the socio-cultural context of the community. An approach that focuses only on technical solutions will fail to guarantee adoption and sustainability. A holistic, participatory, and culturally sensitive intervention strategy is needed, which not only provides infrastructure but also builds strong local awareness, confidence, and institutions to create sustainable water resilience.
2025-08-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Syahrul Rezi Ismail, Mutmainnah Mutmainnah, Irmawaty Irmawaty, Aisyah Madiana Alihttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/959Socialization and Assistance Program for Plastic Waste Recycling using Ecobrick Method at SDN Kawungsari, Bandung Regency, Indonesia2025-09-01T05:50:10+00:00Erika Herlianakaliana.ukri@gmail.comSukma Cahyanasukmacahyana70041@gmail.comHessa Setiajihessasetiaji562@gmail.com
Plastic waste is a significant environmental issue, particularly due to its slow decomposition and incresing accumulation. There are three main problems faced by business actors: first, the low mastery of digital technology; second, less attractive product packaging; and third, marketing strategies that are not yet effective. To overcome this, this program is designed with four main focuses, namely digital marketing, packaging development, creative content creation, integrated business management, and business communication skills development. The implementation uses a hybrid method that combines face-to-face meetings with online mentoring. This program began with a needs survey and focus group discussions (FGD) to prepare training materials that are right on target. The results include improving the quality of digital marketing content, improving product packaging design, and expanding marketing networks which have an impact on increasing business turnover. In the long term, this program is expected to create MSMEs that are independent, highly competitive in the digital era, and able to reach a wider market, including cross-regional markets. In addition to solving technical problems, the program is also committed to building a sustainable business ecosystem through a holistic empowerment approach. This service activity is also inseparable from the role of students in the assistance that is carried out, this activity is expected to make MSMEs understand how to technically use applications in smartphones to produce content, understand how to make attractive packaging designs based on local wisdom and can take advantage of various new media and social media to implement digital marketing. The Kontak Tani Nelayan Andalan (KTNA) in Pabuaran Subdistrict, Serang Regency, has focused on oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) cultivation as a strategic commodity. However, implementation faces significant challenges due to traditional methods, limited equipment, and inadequate marketing strategies. This community service program aims to support KTNA development through agribusiness-based economic empowerment in Tanjungsari Village by implementing appropriate technology and digital marketing capacity building. The program employed a participatory approach involving 38 KTNA members through five systematic stages: socialization, implementation, management, evaluation, and monitoring. Main interventions included introducing appropriate technology (media mixer and large-capacity steamer oven) and comprehensive digital marketing training. Implementation successfully transformed cultivation efficiency and productivity. The media mixer reduced mixing time by 50% (from over 3 hours to 1.5 hours for 100 bag logs) while improving media homogeneity. The steamer oven increased sterilization capacity to 400 bag logs per cycle, dramatically boosting productivity from 100 kg to 250-300 kg per cycle (150-200% improvement). Digital marketing training enhanced farmers' understanding of online marketing principles, social media utilization, marketplace platforms, and branding strategies. The program achieved 90% competency targets in production, business management, and marketing aspects. Results demonstrate that integrated appropriate technology and digital marketing training can significantly improve oyster mushroom cultivation sustainability, contributing to food security, farmer income enhancement, and agribusiness-based economic development.
2025-09-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Taufik Akbar, Hadi Pranoto, Alvita Sarihttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/980Pemberdayaan Kader Melalui Optimalisasi dan Pembuatan Cookies Tepung Kelor dengan Penambahan Tepung Ubi Banggai dan Tepung Kedelai Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Gizi ddan Penurunan Stunting di Kabupaten Donggala2025-09-21T16:58:37+00:00Nurasmi Nurasminurasmi@uwn.ac.idIrnawati Irnawatiirnawati@uwn.ac.idNi Ketut Karianiniketutkariani@uwn.ac.id
Stunting is a condition of impaired growth and development in children caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections. Posyandu cadres, as community health representatives, play a critical role in providing health education, delivering basic services, expanding healthcare access in remote areas, and raising public awareness of healthy lifestyles. Strengthening their knowledge and skills is therefore essential. This program aimed to enhance cadres’ competencies in producing cookies made from Moringa oleifera flour, Banggai sweet potato flour, and soybean flour. The implementation comprised several stages: situational analysis with community partners, obtaining authorization from local government, preparing tools and materials, conducting socialization activities, delivering cadre education and training sessions, followed by monitoring and evaluation. Pre-test results revealed low baseline knowledge, categorized as poor (5%), fair (70%), and good (25%). After the intervention, knowledge improved significantly to poor (0%), fair (15%), and good (85%), indicating a 60% overall increase. In addition, cadres gained practical skills in processing moringa, Banggai sweet potato, and soybean flours, as well as developing cookies derived from these local ingredients. In conclusion, the training program substantially improved cadres’ knowledge and practical skills, particularly in formulating innovative supplementary foods based on local food resources, thereby supporting community-based efforts to prevent stunting.
2025-09-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurasmi Nurasmi, Irnawati Irnawati, Ni Ketut Karianihttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/978Strategy for Strengthening the Beringin Village Community Through the Implementation of the Multidimensional KKN Program2025-09-17T03:36:06+00:00Gita Sakinahkknuinsu2025desaberingin@gmail.comMuhammad Abdul Hafizhabdlhafizh16@gmail.comSayyidah Marwa Hutauruksayidahmarwa@gmail.comWidya Afrianiwidyaafriani69@gmail.comSyipa Arista Widyashifaaristawidya2004@gmail.comSriani Srianisriani@uinsu.ac.id
he Community Service Program (KKN) is increasingly positioned as a strategic service-learning model for community empowerment and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the village level. Through a collaborative and sustainable approach, service-learning integrates education, community service, and measurable impacts across social, economic, environmental, and civic dimensions. This study describes the multidimensional implementation of KKN in Beringin Village, which included social education, economic empowerment (dishwashing soap training and the introduction of branding and marketing for MSMEs), environmental programs, strengthening religious moderation and youth engagement, as well as support for digital village data governance and activity documentation. A descriptive-participatory method was applied through observation, focus group discussions, demonstrations, and field documentation. Initial findings indicate improvements in literacy regarding bullying prevention in partner schools, enhanced basic entrepreneurial skills among household and MSME actors, and the adoption of environmentally friendly practices through biopore infiltration holes for organic waste management and water conservation. These findings are consistent with studies published in SINTA journals, which highlight the effectiveness of branding training and biopore adoption. From a governance perspective, the thematic KKN model serves as a platform for student–citizen collaboration and strengthening village networks. This article formulates a replication strategy involving village asset mapping, designing an integrated service-learning curriculum, applying simple and realistic impact measurements, and planning sustainability beyond the KKN period.
2025-09-24T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Gita Sakinah, Muhammad Abdul Hafizh, Sayyidah Marwa Hutauruk, Widya Afriani, Syipa Arista Widya, Sriani Srianihttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/984Penyuluhan Anti-Aging Sebagai Bentuk Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja, Buleleng 2025-09-24T08:26:42+00:00Made Rendra Wisnu Rahasbistararendrawisnu@unmas.ac.idA. This approach aims to do more than just increase creative economy income; It also creates a space for dialogue that enables sustainable social transformation. In this context, transformative communication plays a central role as a medium that drives paradigm change among society. Participatory and inclusive communication allows diverse groups—including those marginalized—to participate in discussions and decision-making about the direction of the creative economy. Through in-depth interactions, communities can realize the previously neglected potential of local economies and begin to develop creative ideas that are relevant to their social and cultural environment. The form of the result is a more transformative concept of creative economy development, fully involving the community in the process of economic advancement in question. This process focuses not only on the development of individual skills, but also on the creation of collaborative networks that strengthen the creative economy ecosystem. Collaboration between artists, entrepreneurs, communities, and governments sparked local innovations that were able to compete in a wider market, both nationally and globally. Transformative communication encourages people to view creativity no longer as a mere product, but as a tool for social change, economic empowerment, and the enforcement of cultural identity.
2025-10-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Akhmad Muwafik Saleh, Andy Ilman Hakimhttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/1040Empowering Karang Taruna Through Handicraft Production and Marketing as a Flagship of the Creative Economy2025-10-19T13:12:24+00:00Junaidy Junaidyinas.macal@gmail.comDewi Merdayantyinas.macal@gmail.comRizky Subhanrizkysubhan@uniska-bjm.ac.idElisa Oktaviani DAinas.macal@gmail.comKhairullah Anshariinas.macal@gmail.comLukman Fadluninas.macal@gmail.comFarah Azkiyainas.macal@gmail.com
This community service program aims to empower Karang Taruna RT 26 Sungai Ulin, Banjarbaru, by strengthening skills in producing and marketing handicraft products, particularly beaded bracelets, as part of the creative economy. This community service program aims to strengthen the religious literacy of students through digital-based Islamic article writing training at Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Raudhatul Mubaarakah Al Munawwarah in Bireuen. The program was implemented from May to July 2025 and consisted of five main stages: outreach, training, technology implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. The implementation results showed that students who were previously unfamiliar with formal writing were now able to produce more than five Islamic articles and religious opinions with improved writing structure. Furthermore, more than 30 pieces of visual content and articles were successfully published through the pesantren's blog and social media. The formation of a student writing community and the utilization of digital literacy spaces have strengthened the writing culture and opened up broader opportunities for digital da'wah. Thus, this activity demonstrates that students' writing skills can be significantly improved through structured training and the use of technology. The implementation method was carried out through training, workshops, and intensive mentoring on digital literacy, the creation of interactive learning media, and the use of online learning platforms. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills in designing digital-based learning that is engaging, interactive, and contextual. Through this program, teachers are able to utilize technology as a means of strengthening creativity, collaboration, and communication in early childhood learning. Thus, this community service activity contributes to forming an educational ecosystem that is adaptive, innovative, and ready to face the digital transformation in the future.
2025-11-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Beni Arbi Batubarahttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/1074Implementasi Kebijakan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) Dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat2025-11-03T04:43:56+00:00Yesi Mala Sariyessyyy384@gmail.comSulis Pratiwisulis497@gmail.comRizky Mardeansyahrizkymardeansyah4869@gmail.comNaya Khairunnisanayakhairunnisa97@gmail.comErinaldi Erinaldierinaldipratama2905@gmail.com
The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a government policy that aims to reduce poverty through conditional social assistance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of PKH in improving community welfare based on a literature review. The method used is a literature study with a narrative review approach to various journals, scientific articles, and official documents. The results of the study show that PKH contributes to increasing purchasing power, access to education and health, and reducing poverty rates. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as targeting accuracy, dependence on assistance, limited assistance, and weak coordination between institutions. In conclusion, the effectiveness of PKH is highly determined by the quality of its implementation and the need to integrate it with empowerment programs in order to encourage the independence of Beneficiary Families (KPM).
2025-11-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yesi Mala Sari, Sulis Pratiwi, Rizky Mardeansyah, Naya Khairunnisa, Erinaldi Erinaldihttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/1085Implementasi Urban Farming di Pesantren sebagai Model Edukasi Lingkungan dan Ketahanan Pangan Islami2025-11-07T03:26:58+00:00Yunita Asmanyunitaasman11@gmail.comAnida Anidaanidaaja767@gmail.comT. This activity was carried out at an Islamic boarding school in Bireuen Regency, utilizing unproductive land to grow various crops such as vegetables and melons with seeds and seeds. The main objective of this program is to increase the food self-sufficiency of the Islamic boarding school while also shaping the character of the students through practical-based learning and Islamic ecotheological values. The implementation method involves participatory observation, technical assistance, and direct involvement of students in all stages, from soil cultivation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting. The results show an increase in land productivity and food efficiency, with the Islamic boarding school able to meet up to 20% of its internal food needs. Furthermore, this activity fosters ecological awareness, discipline, and responsibility in the students towards the environment. Conceptually, this practice aligns with eco-pesantren theory and the concept of khalifah fil ardh, which emphasizes the role of humans in maintaining the balance of nature. Thus, urban farming has proven effective not only as a solution for food security but also as a model for sustainable character and spiritual education in the Islamic boarding school environment.
2025-11-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yunita Asman, Anida Anida, T. In semi-urban areas like Lamongan, this phenomenon has begun to emerge, but there has been limited education or screening related to it. The initiative aims to enhance adolescents' understanding of emotional eating, its causes and impacts, and to equip them with adaptive emotion regulation strategies through counseling and screening activities. Screening was conducted on 870 grade 10–11 students at SMAN 1 Lamongan using the EADESS questionnaire to assess the likelihood of emotional eating behavior. A total of 865 questionnaires were valid for analysis. The results showed that 100% of respondents experienced emotional eating at varying levels of severity: 83.35% mild, 13.53% moderate, 1.85% severe, and 1.27% very severe. Emotional eating was more prevalent among students who were overweight or obese. Emotional eating is a significant issue among high school adolescents. Counseling and screening have proven to be an important initial step in raising students’ awareness and understanding of the connection between emotions and eating behavior. Further education and accessible mental health services within schools are needed.
2025-11-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yustika Izziyatu Anindita, Izzatul Fithriyah, Agus Hariyonohttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/1098Transformasi Pendidikan Kewirausahaan: Sinergi Akademik dan Industri untuk Pertumbuhan Bisnis Berkelanjutan (SDG 8)2025-11-08T13:44:06+00:00Darma Rika Swaramarindadarmarika_s@unj.ac.idFajri Hamdanifajrihamdani@unj.ac.idAlifah Kusumaningrumalifahkusumaningrum@unj.ac.idBayu Suhendrybayusuhendry@unj.ac.idBadrul Isabadru010@uitm.edu.myAndrew Krishna Putraandrewkrishna.p@gmail.comSabil Alvin Fathiyyahsabil.alvin.fathiyyah@mhs.unj.ac.idFarras Taqyfarras_1701622063@mhs.unj.ac.id
This community service program aims to transform entrepreneurship education through the synergy between academic institutions and the industrial sector to foster sustainable business growth. Nevertheless, limited legal awareness among entrepreneurs and local producers often hinders the optimal protection and utilization of CIP’s cultural and economic value. This community engagement initiative seeks to improve public understanding of the legal aspects surrounding CIP protection, focusing on the Geographical Indication (GI) framework as a legal tool for safeguarding regional products. The program took place at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Medan, in partnership with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra, and was broadcast widely through Radio Move Online to ensure broader public outreach. Employing a participatory approach, the program included legal dissemination sessions, educational workshops, and interactive discussions that brought together MSME actors, academics, and local government representatives. The materials addressed the legal foundation of Geographical Indications as stipulated in Law No. 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications, procedural steps for registration, and the economic and reputational advantages for local communities. The outcomes indicated that participants developed a stronger comprehension of the interconnection between CIP and GI, alongside heightened legal consciousness in protecting local products through formal mechanisms. In conclusion, the program successfully enhanced community legal capacity and promoted broader awareness of Communal Intellectual Property protection across North Sumatra.
2025-11-14T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Citra Ramadhanhttps://journal.civiliza.org/index.php/aij/article/view/1113Pendampingan Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Matematika Berbasis Model Kolaboratif dengan Pendekatan PMR2025-11-13T12:20:58+00:00Maria Carmelita Tali Wanggecarmelitawangge46@gmail.comMaria Editha Belaitabella@citrabakti.ac.idMelkior Weweitabella@citrabakti.ac.idWilibaldus Bhokeitabella@citrabakti.ac.idYosefa Vilmit Ndaoitabella@citrabakti.ac.idJeane Rosalia Kapohitabella@citrabakti.ac.idVeronika Lujuritabella@citrabakti.ac.idIventius Bai Remaitabella@citrabakti.ac.idBonifasius Meguitabella@citrabakti.ac.id
The collaborative model-based development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) for Mathematics using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach aims to improve teachers' ability to design LKPD that are contextual and meaningful, and encourage active student collaboration.
