Strategi Guru dalam Membimbing Penggunaan Teknologi Digital Secara Bijak pada Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought changes in the learning process at the elementary education level, including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Digital technology provides convenience for students in obtaining information and learning resources, but its use also requires assistance so that students are able to use technology appropriately, safely, ethically, and responsibly. (1) Background: The development of digital technology has brought considerable changes in people's lives, including in the field of education. Technology that was previously only used as a means of communication and entertainment has now developed into part of the learning process; (2) Objectives: This study aims to describe teachers' strategies in guiding the wise use of digital technology in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students, the forms of guidance carried out, obstacles faced, and teachers' efforts in overcoming these obstacles; (3) Research Method: This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Research data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of classroom teachers and schools involved in the implementation of digital technology-based learning. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn; (4) Results and Discussion: The results of the study showed that teachers guide the use of digital technology through the provision of rules for the use of devices, the selection of digital learning resources, the provision of examples of good digital behavior, supervision during the use of technology, and the provision of understanding of digital ethics and security. The obstacles found include differences in students' digital skills, limited facilities, internet access, and teachers' ability to keep up with technological developments; and (5) Conclusion:  Therefore, it is necessary to improve teachers' digital competence as well as cooperation between schools and parents in forming wise technology use habits in students.
