The Influence of Digital Literacy, Work Commitment, And Organizational Support System on the Speed and Accuracy of Medical Record Reporting (Study at Permata Mother and Child Hospital, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy, work commitment, and organizational support systems, both partially and simultaneously, on the speed and accuracy of medical record reporting at Permata Bunda Mother and Child Hospital, Ketapang Regency. The research problem stems from the continued occurrence of delays in medical record reporting, incomplete data, recording errors, and discrepancies in information that may affect the quality of health information and the effectiveness of hospital reporting. This study employed a quantitative correlational approach using a total sampling technique involving healthcare and non-healthcare personnel directly involved in medical record management. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression after conducting classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results showed that digital literacy, work commitment, and organizational support systems had a positive and significant influence on the speed and accuracy of medical record reporting, both partially and simultaneously. Work commitment was found to be the most dominant variable, followed by organizational support systems and digital literacy. The findings also indicated that these three variables jointly explained part of the variation in the speed and accuracy of medical record reporting, while the remaining variation was influenced by other factors outside the research model. The findings demonstrate that improving digital capabilities, strengthening work commitment, and providing adequate organizational support can contribute to improving the speed and accuracy of medical record reporting in hospitals.
