The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are entirely original and that all sources of information are properly cited.
2. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
-
Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper citation.
-
Presenting another author’s work as one’s own.
-
Improper paraphrasing or rewriting of another work without acknowledgment.
-
Using substantial parts of another publication without permission or attribution.
-
Self-plagiarism, where authors reuse significant portions of their previously published work without appropriate citation.
Any form of plagiarism constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
3. Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate before entering the peer review process.
The journal applies the following similarity threshold:
-
Maximum similarity index: 20% overall similarity
-
Maximum similarity from a single source: no more than 5%
Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds may be returned to authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity of the similarity.
4. Editorial Procedure for Handling Plagiarism
The editorial board follows ethical guidelines recommended by Committee on Publication Ethics in handling plagiarism cases.
a. Before Peer Review
If plagiarism is detected during the initial screening process:
-
The manuscript will be rejected immediately, or
-
The author may be asked to revise the manuscript to remove problematic similarities.
b. During Peer Review
If plagiarism is identified by reviewers:
-
The manuscript will be rejected.
-
The authors may be informed about the ethical violation.
c. After Publication
If plagiarism is discovered after publication:
-
The article may be retracted from the journal.
-
A retraction notice will be published.
-
The author’s institution may be notified if necessary.

Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal must ensure that:
-
Their work is original and free from plagiarism.
